  1. Can I have international delivery?

    For orders outside the UK and Europe please call our sales team on +44 (0)1270 216000 or email Europac Precision on sales@europacprecision.com

  2. Can I open an account with Europac Precision?

    All business accounts are subject to status. If you would like to create an account please click the 'Apply now' button in the Trade Account area. Initially you will be put on proforma invoicing until you have sufficient credit history with us to move to 30 days.

  3. How are deliveries made within Europe?

    All items destined for European addresses are dispatched via a courier service. Items in stock will be shipped within 24 hours of order placement. Items will usually be delivered within 3 days of shipping.

    For items not in stock, we will estimate dispatch and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items. After placing your order, dispatch and delivery dates will be sent to you in a separate email after your confirmation email.

  4. How can I track the progress of my order?

    You may check the progress of your order by contacting our support team on +44 (0)1270 216000.

  5. How do I access seasonal promotions from your literature?

    Seasonal promotions are viewed directly on the website via the 'Special Offers' page. The promotional price is entered next to the standard price. The standard price will have a line through it, indicating that this product is currently on offer.

  6. How do I register on your website?

    Follow the 'New user? Register now' link and you will be prompted to add a few basic details.

  7. How secure are my details if I purchase from the Europac Precision website?

    Europac Precision does not share your details with any third parties. Europac Precison does not send SPAM in any form. All eshots are carefully selected promotions and discounts on selected goods.

  8. How will my goods be delivered within the UK?

    All items destined for UK addresses are dispatched by First Class post, Royal Mail Special Delivery or APC courier service. It's not possible to choose exactly which carrier we use for your order.

  9. I have forgotten my password - help!

    If you have forgotten your password follow the 'Forgotten your password?' link, followed by the on-screen prompts.

  10. Is it possible to receive discounts for educational institutions?

    Europac Precision has long standing relationships with many universities, colleges and schools. We are always happy to collaborate with educational facilities, please contact us on +44 (0)1270 216000 to see how we can help.

  11. The product I have received is faulty, how do I return my item(s)?

    Please email our customer support team within 3 days of receiving the item(s) stating 'Faulty' as the subject title. Please include full details of the product including the part number. You will then receive a returns number via email.

  12. What measures do you use to prevent fraudulent transactions?

    All transaction information passed between our website and the Protx Payment System is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and all messages from Protx are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing passed to Protx can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

  13. When will I receive my goods?

    Items in stock will be shipped within 24 hours of order placement and will be shipped on a next day delivery service.

    For items not in stock, we'll estimate dispatch and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items. After placing your order, dispatch and delivery dates will be sent to you in a separate email after your confirmation email.

  3. What certification/traceability does my product come with?

    All measuring equipment consistently used for production is traceable to national standards or reference fixtures through our quality management system.

    The majority of products come with a free SCS calibration certificate issued by the TESA laboratory officially credited by the Swiss Calibration Service. To check what certification comes with your product please download the PDF datasheet associated with your product. An SCS certificate will typically be illustrated by a white sheet of paper icon stating, 'Inspection Report with a declaration of conformity', 'Declaration of Conformity', or 'SCS Calibration Certificate'.

    Under certain circumstances a UKAS certificate may be supplied with your product. To check what certification comes with your product please download the PDF datasheet associated with your product. A UKAS certificate will typically be illustrated by a white sheet of paper icon stating, 'UKAS calibration certificate'.

  4. What does the 'Swiss Made' label mean?

    'Swiss Made' is a label used to indicate that a product was made in Switzerland. The wording was formally adopted in the late 19th century and is unique in that most other countries use the phrase 'Made in (Country Name)'. The most obvious place where the label is found is on Swiss watches. The Swiss laws permit the use of the words «Suisse», «produit suisse», «fabriqué en Suisse», «qualité suisse» or the translations, 'Swiss', 'Swiss Made', or 'Swiss Movement'. On some older watches, for example, the word 'Swiss' appears alone on the dial at the six o'clock position.

    Conditions for Use

    The conditions for using 'Switzerland' or 'Swiss' for products are defined very generally in the Trademark Law as follows:

    The origin of goods shall be determined by the place of manufacture or by the origin of the basic materials and components used. The Federal Council can specify such conditions if it is justified by general economic interests or by the interests of individual sectors.
